Personality Assessment

Personality Assessment is a proficiency in professional psychology that involves the administration, scoring, and interpretation of empirically supported measures of personality traits and styles. It is conducted through behavioral observations, paper‐and‐pencil tests, and projective techniques. A personality test aims to assess aspects of a person’s character that remain stable across situations, referred to as their personality.

1.Projective tests: A projective test is one in which the person is asked to respond to ambiguous stimuli in order to reveal hidden emotions and internal conflicts.

2. Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory: was designed to help identify personal, social, and behavioral problems in psychiatric patients.

3. Myers-Briggs Type Indicator: was designed to assist a person in identifying their personality preferences.

4. Keirsey Temperament Sorter: is a self-assessed personality questionnaire designed to help people better understand themselves and others.

5.Enneagram: personality test will show you which of the 9 personality types suit you best.

6. DISC Profile: is a psychometric test, using a four-dimensional model of normal behavior.
